Fabrication
World class fabrication is guaranteed right through the cutting, fitting, welding, shot blasting and painting using best machines available in our factory.
To ensure delivery of the best quality product, the process commences right from the beginning i.e. the raw material used. All materials are imported from a variety of sources from Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, etc. The imported plates are subjected to quality test before fabrication under the supervision of the QC Dept. of KRSSL at the factory end.
A host of CNC based Auto and Semi-Automatic machines are used for cutting and fabrication. The highest standard of welding quality is ensured through a series of measures that includes the following of the AWS (American Welding Society) Code, the use of MIG machines and SAW Machines and above all using of high grade imported welding consumables. This quality check is carried out throughout the period of fabrication until completion of painting. This ensures a product of the finest quality and the difference is evident when compared.
To achieve this end a very qualified team of engineers are placed at the KRSSL Factory. The team includes engineers in planning, production, quality control and maintenance.
Production Facility
Factory of KR Steel Structure Limited is one of the best steel structure manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh. It is housed in an area of 60000 square meters. It has two independent lines of production with most modern and sophisticated machinery. In addition to that this company has separate line for cold forming of roof panels, wall panels and translucent sheets. It also has a production line for light fabrication for door making and such other building items.
Now our annual production capacity is more than 15,000MT and another 15000MT production capacity manufacturing plant is about to ready within 2020.
Production Department of this factory has number of sections like, Cutting & amp; Fitting, fabrication, Welding, Grinding, Shot Blasting, Painting, Cold forming and Fiber Shop. Engineers, Welders and other technical staff-members are well trained and certified in their respective professions.
Quality Control Department of this factory is adequately equipped to conduct all relevant QC Tests relevant to steel structures.
It has ample arrangement for storage of raw materials as well as finished products both in open yards as well as inside the Production Building. High capacity Gantry Crane and modern Bridge Scale helps the proper loading & unloading as well as precise weighing of the incoming and outgoing materials.
This factory is sufficiently prepared to supply full electricity need of its machinery from its own generators which ensures the continuous production of all four lines of production.
Quality Assuranc
KR Steel Structure Limited has a strong quality control department that ensures highest quality of products maintaining all statutory standards relevant to the steel structures. Quality control department has the authority to inspect all incoming materials, all in-process activities at any stage of production and testing of all finished products. This department also has the authority to pass, reject or quarantine the nonconforming products based on objective evidence.
A separate quality department with functions under the top management at the factory is dedicated to undertake quality check at every level of stages from entry to delivery to site. This quality check is carried out throughout the period of fabrication until completion of delivery thus ensuring that only those material that qualify the stringent quality tests of KRSSL quality department are delivered to the client. This ensures a product of the finest quality and the difference is evident when compared. QA & QC department is strictly maintaining the ITP, WPS sated by client or KRSSL standard.
We use of prime quality product and no product from ship breaking material or nonstandard product that is not in accordance with the latest international code is used by KRSSL. All materials are imported from a variety of countries that includes Australia, japan, china, India, Korea, Vietnam, etc. The imported plates are subjected to quality test before fabrication under the supervision of the QA & QC department of KRSSL at the factory end.
Similarly every item needed for the valuable client is imported from time tested suppliers of world class material be it bolts, self-drilling screws, insulation, sky lights or even the welding consumables. In fact every accessory that goes with the building is selected so as to endure the test of time and ensure that the KRSSL quality stands out in every aspect.
Painting Procedure
: Paint is the most commonly used material to protect steel. Paint systems for steel structures have developed over the years to comply with industrial environmental legislation and in response to demands from bridge and building owners for improved durability performance. Previous five and six coat systems have been replaced by typically three coat alternatives, and the latest formulations have focused on application in even fewer numbers of coats, but with increasing individual film thickness.
